Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. She was raised listening to traditional Boleros from the past as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and young professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in the southern part of California. She performs solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is involved with many local organizations in both teaching as well as a performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
